Ship Us Your Head: How Mail-In Lacrosse Stringing Works

Not all the heads we string never come through our door in person. They show up in the mail — from across Ohio, and plenty from further out. If you've found a pocket you want strung by us but you're nowhere near Chagrin Falls, this is how it works.

The short version

You order the stringing online, mail us your head, and we string it within 24 hours of receiving it. Then it ships back insured. The stringing is $40 for Men's and Women's and $45 for goalie, return shipping usually runs about $5, and we've never lost a single order in either direction.

Step 1: Place your order

Start with the men's stringing service, women's stringing service or goalie lacrosse stringing service. Pick your position and pocket depth, and choose the Return Shipping option instead of Drop-Off/Pick-Up.

For materials, you've got three options — all of them fine:

• Add mesh to your order. Browse the shop and add whatever mesh and strings you want in the same checkout.
• Tell us what you want and we'll invoice you. If you're not sure what to pick, call or text us at (216) 200-6331 or email admin@stringerssociety.com. We'll talk through it and send an invoice once we know what your setup needs.
• Send your own materials. Already have mesh you like? Put it in the box. We'll string what you send.

Step 2: Let us know it's coming

Before you ship, send us a quick message — a text to (216) 200-6331 with your name and order number is plenty. It means we're watching for your package and your head goes straight into the queue when it arrives.

Step 3: Pack and ship the head

Send the head only — keep the screw. No need to ship the whole stick; it costs you more in postage and the shaft does nothing for us. A small box with a little padding is all it takes. Ship to:

One honest note on shipping risk: insure or track your inbound package if you want the protection — the head is your responsibility until it reaches us. Once it's here, it's ours. Every return shipment we send goes out insured, and in all the years we've been doing this, not one order has been lost in either direction. We'd like to keep that streak.

Step 4: We string it within 24 hours

The clock starts when your head arrives, not when you order. Within 24 hours of receiving it, your pocket is strung to the position and depth you picked, and it's on its way back. Return shipping uses live carrier rates — we get good pricing, so it's typically around $5.

What if the pocket isn't right?

Every stringing job comes with our 100% satisfaction guarantee, and that includes mail-in orders: unlimited free adjustments. If something about the release or hold isn't working for you, ship it back — you cover the shipping to us, we cover the stringing work and the shipping home. In practice, adjustments almost never happen. Picking the right depth for your position up front does most of the work, and that's exactly what the options at checkout are for.
