Cast Iron Olympic Plates

PRx cast iron Olympic plates are heavy, they're round, and they get the job done. With a 2" (50.6mm) collar opening, they fit all standard Olympic barbells. Sold in pairs.

Cast iron is the classic choice for a home gym. It's thinner than rubber, so you can fit more weight on the bar, and it costs less per pound. However, iron plates aren't made to be dropped, so they're best for squats, presses, rows and other lifts you lower under control.
