Cast Iron Change Plates

PRx cast iron change plates complete your weight set. They're great for adding weight in small steps so you can hit that next PR. With a 2" (50.6mm) collar opening, they fit all standard Olympic bars. Sold in pairs.

Big jumps between plates can stall your progress, especially on presses and accessory lifts. Change plates let you add as little as 5 lb total per session. Because cast iron plates are thin, they also leave room on the sleeve for the rest of your load.

Iron or bumper? Cast iron change plates are thinner and cost less. However, they aren't made to be dropped, so use them on lifts you lower under control.

How to use them: first, load your main plates. Next, add a change plate pair to the outside. Finally, lock everything with a collar before you lift.
